Dive plan

Block depth = leg average (seafloor, MSL + tide), time = dist ÷ speed rounded up. Levels = merged depth/time pairs for a deco calculator. Estimates — verify before diving.
Each point is one surface GPS fix from the dive computer — entry or exit, unrecorded. It is not where the dive happened and not a track, so no paths are drawn between fixes and the logged max depth is unrelated to the seafloor depth beneath the marker. Most fixes land at the Whalers Cove ramp.
BAUE merge review
Recovered from BAUE’s archived dive-map pages via the Wayback Machine. Matching pins are never moved — your positions are hand-verified and better than the club coordinates, so only the name is up for review. Accepted new sites take the BAUE position and ship as approximate.
Editing: drag a site to move it · click a site to rename or delete · click the map to add one · Export copies the list as JSON.
Solid yellow = hand-verified. Hollow orange = published third-party coordinate, not verified — drag it to confirm and it turns solid. Hollow blue square = shore entry (coordinate sits on the beach, so it has no depth under it).
Bathymetry: CSUMB SFML 1 m (Whalers/Bluefish, 2000–2013) + NOAA CUDEM 1/9″ topobathy (~3 m, Point Lobos to Davenport) + GMRT (~50 m, Big Sur south of Point Lobos and deep water). Depths in ft below MSL. Resolution varies by area — see the region note. Headings magnetic (grid conv., −declination).
Disclaimer: This tool is for reference only. It is built on publicly available data that has not been independently verified. Plans it produces are for planning purposes and do not account for contingencies — do not dive beyond your training. Build your navigational knowledge slowly, and never rely blindly on compass headings: cameras, DPVs, and other electronics can skew a compass.
